Calendar Guidelines

Here are some guidelines to follow when using the Scheduling Calendar provided by PAL Dental Arts, Inc. (Next month Calendars are usually distributed around the twentieth of each month.)

1) Never schedule the patient the same day as the requested return date. The calendar states that cases are guaranteed to be delivered by 5:00 PM on the return date. Typically, that time is shortened to 2:00 PM; however, the guarantee is 5:00 PM.

2) When cases are returned for die trim, this will add at least three to four working days after the return date listed on the calendar, to allow for the delivery, die trim, and pick-up. (Working days do not include weekends or
holidays.) To be safe, four working days would be best.

3) Implant cases do not follow the Scheduling Calendar return dates, because we have no control over the time it takes to receive an analog or abutment order. Once the abutment has been received, the case will be scheduled in and your office will be notified of the delivery date, which is typically seven to nine
working days, depending on the type of crown.

4) Deliveries start at approximately 10:00 AM. Pick-up requests received by 10:00 AM will be added to the route for that day. Any requests after 10:00 AM will be evaluated as to the route for the day and may need to be added to the next day's route.

5) Call ahead to schedule any “rush” cases (rush meaning before the delivery date on the calendar) and we will do our best to accommodate, depending on case load. This should be done prior to scheduling your patient.
